Megan Baker House is a charity providing FREE Conductive Education Services at its centre in Herefordshire for children, teenagers and adults with special educational needs and physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, head injury, stroke, dyspraxia and early on-set Parkinson's disease.
In addition we also provide Conductive Education reach-out services at various venues.

Vacancy
Qualified conductor required for conductive education centre to run project REACH-OUT, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund. Salary £26,000 per annum 37 hours per week full-time with additional hours as and when required to complete reports, plan sessions etc. Must be experienced in working with adults and children with a range of motor disabilities. The post is an out-reach position and you will be required to drive a company vehicle to venues throughout the region. Herefordshire based Community Causes CIC will pay MBH for your unwanted clothes, shoes and books. See news article for more information.
Help Could be at Hand
If you need practical help for children, teenagers or adults with motor disabilities, help could be at hand. We currently offer free conductive education for children with cerebral palsy, dyspraxia and other motor related disorders; and adults with Parkinson's disease or suffering from stroke or head injuries. It's not a miracle cure but it does offer a pathway to independence and the results can be impressive. To find out what help may be available, contact us or fill out an assessment form.
