I used to hold the position of Honorary President and Patron of the Lady Taverners in Guernsey who raised funds for children with special needs. They helped schools to purchase equipment to make play times for children more special. I had the happy task of delivering the equipment to the schools and from this I was able to see how the toys, hoists and other equipment were used. These children rarely got any better. This is what impressed me so much about MBH.
Megan Baker House with its very intensive and special treatment gradually make the children in their care better and more able to lead normal lives. I am learning about ‘special needs’ and ‘disabled’ children and it is a pleasure to be involved in such a positive environment.
