Jack, Lisa and Neil Halloran
Hello! My name is Jack, I am six and a half years old and I attend Megan Baker House.
I hope you don’t mind, but I have asked my mum to write this for me – she is neater. I was born at 26 weeks and have Cerebal Palsay, by chance my mum and dad found MBH on the internet, it was a turning point in my life.
We travel from Gorseinon near Swansea, it takes us about 11/2 to 2 hours, we rise at 6am, but it is something we gladly do. The tremendous goals that you achieve with the likes of me is truly amazing – and you don’t raise your voices. It is a truly fantastic feeling knowing that you are working as hard as possible to provide a better new independent future for us, and I cannot thank you enough for your tireless efforts week after week.
On behalf of everybody that is lucky enough to receive your help, we are so grateful, not only have I learnt new skills, I have made new friends; Charlie, Henry and Ben.
Even if we have to travel four hours each way, we would do it without hesitation, the rewards far outweigh the distress.
Keep up the good work and I promise that I will do my best to help you help me.
Love Jack x x x
P.s My mum Lisa and my dad Neil cannot express how grateful they are to you for giving me a chance to show them what possibilities I can achieve towards an independent life with confidence and self – esteem. Thank you.
